Stop filling the same potholes.

Fix what’s causing them.

Flat tracks hold water. Water wrecks roads. Fransgård blades cut the fall, clear the water and keep your track intact.

Walkthrough

Everything you’d want to know before buying a grader blade.

Take a quick walk around the grader blade with John. Every feature, what it does on your track, and which model fits your tractor. Watch this first.

Your tracks. Your races. Your roads.

A grader blade that goes on the tractor you already own. Cut, shape and crown your tracks from the seat. Dairy race, station track, forestry road or the access road up the hill, one blade does the lot.

Dairy races

Crown the race so the herd walks on metal, not water.

Hill country stations

Steep country and long tracks. There's a lighter blade sized for hill tractors up to 120 horse.

Forestry roads

Long roads, heavy traffic. The towed AUS runs a 5.4 m base, so it bridges the bumps instead of riding them.

Snow and alpine access

Swing the blade and push. The snow blade option cuts the edge on an angle so it doesn't slump back on the track you just cleared.

Water's got nowhere to go

Rain sits on a flat track. Wet metal goes soft, and every ute through digs the hole deeper.

Scrape it smooth, it comes back

You've filled the hole, not the reason for the hole. By spring, same holes.

So you cart in more metal

And pay to fill holes the next wet digs straight back out.

The fix

Give it a fall. The rain does the rest.

A proper grader blade doesn't just scrape the top. It shapes the whole surface: tilt to set the fall, reach to get to the drain, and an edge that bites. Fransgård builds all three in, plus one move most operators never use.

Tilt, 20° each way

Hydraulic on the DKH and AUS. Set the fall from the seat and read it off the gauge through the cab glass. No climbing down to check.

Over half a metre of offset

Slides out sideways on every model, right to the table drain. Your tractor stays where you want it. The blade goes where the work is. Hydraulic offset optional.

Reversible Hardox 500 edge

Toothed side bites, smooth side finishes. Wear one out, flip it. Bolted on with 16 mm grade 12.9 bolts, so a new edge never means a new blade.

Built to reverse

Pile left at the end of a run? Back over it. The back of the blade spreads it out, no turning round. You'll appreciate that by the hundredth pass.

Wheels that hold the depth

Standard on the DKH and AUS. Set the height once and the blade holds it, instead of bouncing every time the tractor does.

One blade, all year. Add a snow blade, side flaps, a rubber edge or the 3.5 m extension kit.

Short on remotes? Electro-hydraulic control runs three functions off one double-acting outlet.

The range

Six models. One for your tractor.

From a 2.5 m blade for hill country tractors up to 120 horse, through to a 3 m towed unit for 180 horse on long roads. Whatever you're running and whatever you're grading, there's a Fransgård sized for it.

FAQ

Questions we get asked before someone buys.

Questions we get asked before someone buys.

Up to 120 horse and hill country, start with the GT-275HNZ. Up to 150 and you want tilt from the seat, the DKH in 2.5 or 3 metre. Up to 180 on long roads, the towed GT-300AUS. Or save yourself the homework, tell us your tractor and we'll match it.

The HNZ is Cat II. The DKH and AUS are Cat III (a Cat II/III DKH can be ordered, but it has to be ordered that way from the factory). Not sure which you've got? Tell us the tractor and we'll check.

One double-acting for the HNZ. Three for the DKH and AUS, or fit the electro-hydraulic control and run them off one.

Standard on the DKH and AUS, 20° each way, with a gauge you read from the cab. The HNZ tilts by hand in five positions, or add the optional hydraulic cylinder.

Yes. Rotate the blade and go. Add the snow blade option and the cut edge is angled so snow doesn't fall back onto the track you just cleared.

Hardox 500, reversible, bolted on. Standard is toothed one side and smooth the other. Smooth/smooth or toothed/toothed is available at no extra cost.

Yes, there's stock at Rolleston now. Tell us which model you're after and we'll confirm.

Depends on the model and what you're grading. Tell us your tractor and the job and we'll give you a straight price on the right blade, with freight quoted alongside it.

You can. But you're on their schedule, and you pay every time they come. With your own blade you grade when the track needs it, not when someone's free.

Metal fills the hole. A fall fixes the reason it's there. Shape the track first and the metal you do cart in stays where you put it.

NZ-wide from Rolleston. Freight is quoted with the blade.

12 months on everything, parts held in NZ, and a mobile field service if you need someone to come to you.

Absolutely. Come to Rolleston and watch one work a track before you buy.

Yes. Forestquip operates in Victoria too. Same blades, same backup.

You could spend the next two hours comparing widths, linkages, hydraulics and horsepower. Or take a minute. Tell us what you're running and what you're grading, and we'll come back with the right blade and a straight price. Want to see it work first? Ask about a demo on your place before you buy.
